• London Fashion Week Autumn- Winter 2025 Recap: Unveiling Runway Highlights & Style Inspirations

As I planned my content calendar at the start of the year, one event I eagerly anticipated was London Fashion Week. I was looking forward to the runway shows, the networking, and a good reason to dress up! Organizing logistics—from securing the perfect hotel to planning outfits and managing invitations—was an adventure, but everything came together seamlessly. The event ran from February 20th to 24th, and while securing a hotel around such a time was costly, I was fortunate to split expenses with a friend. After careful searching, we found a charming hotel with plenty of natural light, ideal for both comfort and content creation.

In the next sections, I’ll delve into the various shows I attended, sharing my thoughts on the standout looks and the captivating impressions they left.

But first, a bit about the hotel.

We stayed at Staycity Aparthotels London Dalston. Such a convenient location when you think of it in terms of access to the events we attended as well as located in a vibrant neighborhood which meant that the transport system was good and there were plenty of options when it came to food. The aparthotel features stylishly designed apartments equipped with fully functional kitchens, spacious living areas, and contemporary amenities. So a bit like a home-like atmosphere with the added benefits of hotel services, including a 24-hour front desk and complimentary Wi-Fi.

    Day 1 LFW AW25

I received invitations to four shows on this day, which was incredibly exciting. However, I unfortunately couldn’t attend all of them due to scheduling conflicts, as some shows overlapped or took place simultaneously. With limited time to commute between venues, I ultimately managed to attend two of the shows, making the most of the opportunity to experience the incredible designs and presentations firsthand.

    Show 1

The first show I attended was the Fashion Hong Kong Runway & After Party. However, upon arrival, I found the queue to be quite lengthy, and it seemed they had overbooked the venue, resulting in some attendees, including myself, being unable to get in. Despite this setback, they shared with me the press release which I’ll share with you some of my favourite looks from the collections.

Bettie Haute Couture – “Bauhaus Reverie: Contemporary Elegance”

Bettie Jiang does elegance in a way I love – combining the elegance of British tailoring with the simplicity of Bauhaus-inspired design. The pieces are wearable today and for years to come.

    RICKYYWONG – “ODYSSEY”

Ricky Wong showcased their urban collection which is very fitting for a vibrant city life – ensuring comfort and craftsmanship in each piece. They utilised waxed cotton, luxurious alpaca wool, and zero-waste tailoring. Definitely brought home that cool factor.
