Haute and Comely is an independent fashion and lifestyle publication devoted to thoughtful style, confident living, and the art of moving through the world with grace.
Founded in 2012 by editor and stylist Marianne Turkson, it began as a personal space for documenting fashion and has developed into a considered editorial platform encompassing personal style, beauty, interiors, culture and graceful living.
At its heart is a belief that elegance is deeply personal. Haute and Comely does not prescribe a single way to dress or live. Instead, it celebrates individuality and encourages women to develop a style that feels confident, expressive and entirely their own.
Through editorial features, styling guidance, cultural observations and carefully selected recommendations, Haute and Comely brings a distinctive perspective to both the exceptional and the ordinary.
Meet the Founder
Marianne Turkson is the Founder, Editor and Stylist behind Haute and Comely.
With more than a decade of experience in fashion and lifestyle storytelling, Marianne is known for her elegant, individual approach to personal style. Her work combines editorial insight with a warm and accessible perspective, helping women dress with confidence while finding a little more grace in everyday life.
Marianne holds a degree in Education, with a focus on English, as well as a degree in Social Work. Her academic background has shaped both her approach to communication and her interest in identity, self-expression, and the ways in which clothing can help us define ourselves on our own terms.

Editorial Philosophy
Haute and Comely believes that personal style should empower rather than prescribe. Every feature is guided by curiosity, individuality and a respect for thoughtful living. Trends are considered through the lens of longevity and personal relevance, while recommendations are chosen for their quality, beauty, usefulness and ability to enrich the reader’s life.
The publication brings together aspiration and accessibility. It finds elegance not only in remarkable clothes, beautiful interiors and memorable occasions, but also in the rituals and considered choices that bring meaning to ordinary days.
