Hi dearies, Hope the month of February has started well for everyone. For me, I have started the month on a quest for Plant-based Cruelty-Free Skincare products. Recently, I have been having eczema which is quite new to me since I never suffered from the condition. Well, my doctor in her wisdom claims its stress induced. Oh well, my life has always been stressful, so I’m not sure where she’s going with that one. As expected, I’ve been prescribed some chemical products which I’m not keen about. However one thing is for sure, we do not stan scaly skin so I’m taking the natural treatment route.

As I previously mentioned in the CLASSIC WINGED EYELINER AND RED LIPS post, I am an ambassador for SHOWCASE BEAUTY which is a beauty brand that celebrates diversity of beauty. They promote independent beauty brands with great consideration to ethical beauty standards as well as varying individual needs such as vegan, organic, cruelty-free, allergen-free, pro-age, plant- based and k-beauty amongst others. They stock a range of products from skincare, makeup, bath and body, fragrance, wellbeing amongst others. You can use my discount code marianne10 for 10% off on their website.

This month, I’ve had the opportunity to try the Madara Volcano Scrub Soap and the Madara Charcoal Detox Soap which is awesome timing. I have used a few charcoal products in the past but never in soap form, neither have I tried a volcano scrub, which obviously sounds awesome.

I must say that I am very enthusiastic about these products and loving them so far. My favourite thing about these soaps is how squeaky clean my skin feels after use. Because they contain useful oils, I know that it replenishes the skin after striping it of toxins. A side note however is that although the soaps felt alright on the rest of my skin, it felt a bit tingly when I washed my face with them. So if you are hypersensitive to tingly products, you may want to keep it away from your face. Either than that, they are definitely worth a try.

Like all other @showcase_beauty products, both soaps are cruelty-free which I uphold.

Great post. I’ve been a little lax about my beauty products. This post made me rethink my beauty buys.

I am intrigued by the lava soap. I also like that these are plant based and cruelty free. That’s a must for me!

I don’t think I’d want to use the volcanic sand soap on my face, but I think it would definitely work for everything else.
