Resolutions
Compliments of the season to you all. I hope you all enjoyed the season devoid of any negativity. Unfortunately that cannot be said of everyone, untimely deaths, tsunamis and other unfortunate circumstances are stealing people’s joys. Nonetheless, we need to be grateful for the life we have and endeavour to make the most of it. Talking about things not going to plan( but obviously not to be equalled to the adversities happening elsewhere), at the start of 2018, like most of us, I made a moodboard of all the things I wanted to achieve this year.
As the months turned into weeks, weeks into days and days into hours, It was obvious that some of my plans were not going to come into fruition. As expected, I was so disheartened, nonetheless after much contemplation, I begun to put things into perspective. The goals that were not achieved were the very ones I tried my hardest at. Life doesnt always pan out like we want it to, however, what is important are the lessons we learn along the way. I tried, but it was either not to be or just not the right time.
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts”-Winston Churchill
As it stands now, I already have much on my plate, so I am not setting new goals for 2019 . I would be focusing on 2018’s. Having said that, my intention is to pay attention to the process rather than the product. I intend to be organised and most importantly, to STAY organised. It makes no sense to set goals perfunctorily, there needs to be a set plan to make them happen. I will write about this in a subsequent blog post(keep them peeled).
What would you do differently in 2019? Comment below, I’m interested to know.

That’s the one! All the best with it.
It’s a great idea to examine the 2018 goals. My goal for 2018 was to start a blog which I did. I have 2 simple achievable goals for 2019 and I hope to realize them. Time will tell. You’re right. Life doesn’t play fair but you have to keep trying and not quit.
