• London Fashion Week AW 2026 Street Style | What I Wore in London

London Fashion Week is, to me, the most exhilarating stage upon which to experiment with style. There is something electric about being surrounded by individuals who treat fashion not merely as clothing, but as language. The atmosphere alone invites boldness.

When planning what to wear, I rarely rely on imagination alone. I prefer to create a clear visual moodboard beforehand, using the exact pieces I intend to style. It allows me to see how an idea translates in practice, to assess proportion, texture, and harmony before stepping out the door.

In this post, I shall walk you through the look I chose and the thinking behind each element. If you would like details on any of the pieces featured in these looks, everything is linked for ease.

Look 1 – Elegant Soft Draping

For this look, I styled the Zahra dress with a removable cape from MALOA. The base is a sleek black dress, very clean, very elongating. I paired it with a soft ivory draped cape. The cape introduces movement against the dress’s structure, much like the Indian saree. I particularly love the timeless feel. I added white pointed heels to pull the lightness from the cape down to my feet. I kept everything refined and tonal so the silhouette does the talking. To finish it off, with the A Good Ole Listener Gold Heart Bangle and the Firework Statement Ring, both from Après Youth.

Look 2 Look 2 – Structured Tailoring with a Focal Point.

London Fashion Week AW 2026 street styleI was definitely going for a tailored look with the coat, but I wanted a focal point. Something unexpected, so I softened it with that dramatic Red Rose Cape from BAÉ . The black pointed heel with red rosettes ties directly into that accent, creating cohesion without overwhelming the neutrality of the grey.

Look 3 – Red Mini with Sheer Layers

With this look, I wanted to play with contrast. The Red Stoop Neck dress, also from BAÉ, makes such a bold statement. To ground it, I introduced the burgundy sheer layering pieces, which add depth without competing.

The white removable rose cape bow, paired with white heels, adds a bit of charm. There is something very deliberate about red against white.

Look 4 – Leopard and Power Red

London Fashion Week AW 2026 street styleLet’s start with the leopard top; it already carries energy, so I balanced it with tailored black trousers to anchor the look. I never like to compete with a print. I prefer to frame it. The Hope red suit jacket blazer (usually comes with a detachable oversized bow) sharpens everything instantly. And of course, the red hat and red heels complete the whole look.

It has a slight retro vibe, which I love. An opulent gold brooch sculpted into fluid, petal-like forms, crowned at its centre with a faceted crimson stone that glows richly against the satin red beneath, was the perfect finishing piece.

Look 5 – Statement Black Coat with Utility Belt

This look is about the silhouette. The black cinched coat has a very strong line; it’s both minimalistic and structured. So I introduced softness with the powder blue scarf detail. That touch of colour lifts the entire look without disrupting its elegance.

The cinched waist, punctuated by a utilitarian belt with compact leather pouches, introduces an edge. It’s deliberate, balancing elegance with function. The pale blue gloves, clipped at the hip, add an unexpected note of refinement, their softness contrasting beautifully against the severity of the black.

The black boots keep it grounded and cohesive. The gold cuff adds just enough warmth.

Look 6 – Power Jacket + Barrel Leg Trousers with Contrasting Elements

London Fashion Week AW 2026 street styleLike the previous look, this look was all about shape. The TAUPE structured hourglass jacket contrasts beautifully with the barrel black trousers. I love playing with shapes like this.

The red necklace injects vibrancy into an otherwise neutral palette, while the zebra boots add a subtle clash of print that keeps the look interesting.

Look 7 – Statement Taupe Coat Paired with Rich Textures

London Fashion Week AW 2026 street styleThe taupe belted coat creates a long, fluid line. It is elegant in a very effortless way. I layered in rich textures through the gold-toned cape and the top handle bag. Those tones bring warmth and dimension to the neutrality of the base.

The pillbox hat is what makes it feel truly editorial. It adds an element of vintage, and it frames the face beautifully without overpowering the look.  The heels add a subtle pop of colour without disturbing the palette.

Putting these looks together was both fun and thoughtful. Each outfit has been considered in terms of silhouette, texture, colour, and mood, but most importantly, in how it feels to wear. Trends may inform the direction, but every piece here has been chosen because it aligns with my personal aesthetic and the way I wanted to show up that week.
