Pure London Show 2023 If you have seen my Instagram you would have seen my Instagram stories, reels and photos from the Pure London show I attended recently. Curtesy Jayley Collection, I had the opportunity to attend the Pure London Fashion show which took place from 16-18th February at Kensington Olympia in London.

What is the Pure London show?

It is a global fashion exhibition show that takes place twice a year around fashion week season to showcase the seasons trends and collections and thus provide a networking opportunity for buyers, exhibitors as well as an opportunity to gain relevant insight in the industry. This year, they launched Purely Sustainable which provided a dedicated space for independent sustainable retailers to showcase their collection.

I attended the first day of the 3 day show. This year’s show was truly special! There were exhibitors from all around the world showcasing their collections- an eclectic array of designs including contemporary, limited edition, ready-to-wear collections amongst others. Some of the the brands I visited included:

Jayley Collection, a sustainable fun expressive and dopamine driven label. This brand is popular on social media and can be seen on platforms such as Asos.

Big Metal London, a sustainable fashion jewellery brand that makes their beautiful jewellery from recycled sunglasses frames our resin earrings by upcycling the leftover products from sunglasses frames.

Kings of Indigo, a Netherlands based denim brand that has been around for 10yrs. They prides themselves in using sustainable materials and production methods. They are currently gearing up for the circular economy.

Persona by Marina Rinaldi, a womenswear brand that designs contemporary day-to-night designs to celebrate the beauty of women of all sizes.

Virago Barcelona, founded in 2020, this independent fashion label has made it a mission to bring back a bit of glamour to the street. Inspiring women to express their femininity with strength, in a manner that dismantles  the stereotypical depictions of femininity as fragility.

Punkyfish returns back to stages and streets this time redefining their original collections, reflecting streetwear trends in womenswear and leading urban fashion.

Loreto Martinez , bespoke 80s inspired collection that celebrates the strong and feminine woman. ” Born in Almería from the vision of its designer and the desire to make elegant suits, with personality and a very characteristic Andalusian touch”.

Derhy, established over 50yrs ago. This Parisian brand has its own online stores and also work with big online stores such as Amazon and Zolando. In the UK they’ve work with department stores such as House of Fraser and John Lewis. Presently they concentrate on exclusive boutiques in the UK and Ireland.

Esqualo, a Dutch womenswear brand specialises in high quality finishes and unique prints. They have partner shops worldwide.

Punkyfish an English streetwear brand that celebrates expression and freedom in their urban womenswear collection.

I loved the runway shows, sat through some of the educational seminars by influential speakers and did a ton of networking. Overall I enjoyed my experience and look forward to may more events such as this to network with people in the fashion industry. Shout out to my cousin for coming with me and making the experience even more worthwhile.

How cool! I’ve been to Coterie in NY but I am unfamiliar with shows in the UK. So many gorgeous options and this one looks much nicer! Loving all the purples too!
