Getting Organised and Mindfulness are two things I have written about many times on this blog. For me, these two things work hand in hand. It is when I am organised that I am able to feel present in whatever I do, which in turn helps me to be more productive. It is very easy to spend hours on end worrying about all the things we have got to do rather doing those actual things. I have had my fair share of feeling drowned by work. One thing I have learnt is that getting things done goes beyond making a to-do list. Things can get very overwhelming that is when procrastination, self-doubt, and stress creep in.
There needs to be a system in place to help you structure your life in order to be more productive. A system that works well for me is breaking down my to-do list into doable tasks. This system is time efficient as well as measurable. In the past I have used different types of planners and bullet journals to do this but I recently got the chance to have a copy of The daily goal setter by Mål Paper and I must say that it is brilliant! I say so because they have put together a system that is very efficient. It helps you to evaluate your long, medium, and short-term goals and puts a system in place to help you think about how to break these goals down. The daily goal setter planner comes with a cheat sheet, a feature I have not seen with other planners. The cheat sheet outlines the various sections and how to use them, I particularly love the tips on how to use the S.M.A.R.T Method to set specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and timely goals.
In view of being mindful, the Gratitude and Affirmations section is an awesome addition. I know that these are buzz words and because of that their value tends to be downplayed. But if you have actually taken time to write a gratitude journal, you would know of how valuable something as cliché as that really is. Most of the time we are overwhelmed with life so much so that all we see is the negative. Take 2020 for instance, in this very moment as I am writing this post, I am thinking of Chadwick Boseman’s passing. Noting down the things we are grateful for can be a powerful exercise that can help us realise that every day, we encounter many blessings that we do not even acknowledge. Picking up my gratitude journal when I am down and reading it has brought me so much healing and a reminder that I am loved.

I am very bad when it comes to organizing anything, but this goal setter seems like a nice idea to start with. Thank you 😊

Such a pretty journal. I am all about setting weekly goals and recording what I’m grateful everyday. It really is a game changer when it comes to day to day life. Great read!!

Wee cannot stress that enough
What a beautiful and classic looking planner! I quit using my planner due to the pandemic because seeing all the blank pages and all my plans for the year get canceled was just making me depressed, but I think it is finally time to start back up again!
