• AUTUMN STYLE TREND: KNITWEAR

It is finally autumn when cosy knitwear starts to make a feature in our wardrobes. Sweater, knitwear or jumper, whatever you call them, I am sure that you’ve got one in your wardrobe right now. Styling knitwear is so easy, put them together with  jeans, tailored trousers, chinos, skirts or over a slip dress and you are good to go. No overthinking necessary. However, I love knitwear with something interesting about them.  This could be the knit pattern, colour or shape of it.

In this post, I am sharing with you 4 knit jumpers from FEMME LUXE, a clothing brand that  sells very trendy fashion pieces, from everyday wear to special occasion wear at very good prices. Find their knitwear collection HERE

KHAKI GREEN SCALLOPED NECK CROPPED KNITWEAR

For this look, I layered this gorgeous loose fitting scalloped turtle neck cropped sweater, over a light weight shirt dress of a similar colour tone and then finished it off with some leggings and a pair of sock boots. It is definately a what to wear when you are not sure of what to wear kind of look. It has the right measure of put-togetherness and yet still satisfies the ‘not-even-trying’ vibe.    “Autumn style tip: Stretch the wear of your not so warm- weather appropriate pieces”.

    BOBBLE SLEEVES HIGH NECK JUMPER

A great way to add some fun to your outfits is to introduce some colour, texture and pattern. This lovely jade green bobble sleeves high neck jumper is a such a smart choice. The vibrancy of the colour, coupled with the knitted details on the sleeves makes it a favourite of mine. A high neck on a top adds such a classy touch, wearing a necklace over your high necks elevates the look even further.  I styled the jade green knitwear with gold jewellery, a Prince of Whales check culottes, a pair of grey ankle boots and a crossbody bag worn as a tummy bag.

    RUFFLE TURTLE NECK CROPPED SWEATER

This was my favourite look. I love the rich red colour of this beautiful knitwear. I wore a cami style wide leg jumpsuit over it and finished off with a beret, a bum bag and a pair of red pointy heels.

Wow I would never think to pair that black and white romper with a sweater. It looks really amazing. My struggle with sweaters is the care process. I have patience in letting them air dry and then I get them all stretched out.

I am always almost a jumble of purple in the fall …the knit jumper got me staring! All the others are cute too and I admit I am quite inspired to try out new colors this fall .
